This cake was french vanilla top two tiers and a Kahlua Bottom layer covered in fondant with Royal Purple sugar roses and a fondant ribbon in a very soft silver.   Cake date May 21st, 2011.

Nephew's 8th Birthday

This was obviously a requested Sponge Bob cakes done quickly with Cake kits.    The main cake is white with whipped icing and airbrush accents and the Crabby Patty is French Vanilla covered in fondant.  

Easter Class party for my nephew

My 8 year old nephew was thrilled with his birthday cake and had asked me to make a cake for his easter party at school.  As much as we tried to discourage him and make cupcakes, nothing I could show him as options he insisted on a cake.  So this is my version of how the Easter Bunny gets all those deliveries done so quickly.  I even teased my nephew that this car was so fast that he lost an egg on take off. 

Chicago Girl

 Birthday Cake for a fellow Cubs fan,  Cake was a marble Cake covered in Fondant with White chocolate molds for scoreboard and fondant pieces for Wrigley Field sign as well as "flying flags" 

Divorce Cake from yep you guessed it... My ex husband!! 

 Birthday Cake for a Hugh Chicago Blackhawks fan, Who's birthday fell the same day as the Championship Celebration Parade.


Death of youth as a Chicago Cubs Fan. 

As you can tell, I like to play with my food.  Being from Chicago and being raised in the suburbs I am a huge sports fan.
